I see that one of our earlier pre-season targets, Dave Artell, has moved on yet again to Northampton without having played a game for Port Vale. Probably to do with the ongoing uncertainty regarding their take-over and debts!

Northampton under Hoofroyd really should be strong this year, very good signing for them.
