Supporters Club

TUST members are being asked to vote on a proposal to set-up up a separate Supporters club in collaboration with themselves and the club.
TUST say their reasons for doing this are that it isn't currently clear what the Trust is,and they have been struggling to atract new board members as existing ones stand down.Their definition is that the Trust is an organisation to represent the fans of TUFC should the club fall into crisis-the Trust having being formed specifically for that purpose during the dark days of C*r*s R*b*r*s reign.
With the club being well run now the trusts primary aim isn't required at present,so has evolved into being a kind of Supporters club by default.
TUST have held talks with the club who agree that TUST needs to remain independent but that the formation of a Supporters club is desirable. The club would then provide resources to the Supporters club and introduce benefits and offers for members.
The Trust would receive a percentage of Supporters club fees and continue with its membership but at a reduced rate of,say, £2-00 per year.
Money would be kept aside for a "rainy day" at Torquay United.
