Just seen this on Twitter from Cyprus Football / @cyprusfooty

In fact, I think I'm right in saying that Lingy has not long come back off his holidays ...... in Cyprus! His poor wife, he must have been out and about scouting while he was out there !!!!!

Hope he is a striker! Cannot see this being true - seems completely made up!

If true, I suspect, given his age, that he might be joining the youth set up or maybe just a trial. According to the source he is an attacking midfielder/support striker.

Also - would he not need a work permit? Suspect a U17 year old international could not get one?

You need to revise your footy manager harder. Cyprus is fine, no need for a work permit.

I'm thinking it's a load of rubbish. I'd make a bet at it being brucie's imagination but I can't see him having the creativity to think of a name like that!

I don't think we can dismiss it purely on the grounds that it's an obscure name. If it's true, it's likely just a youth contract or something?

If it isn't true, it seems strange that a Twitter account tweeting all about Cypriot football would exist just to make up obscure rumours. What's the point? I mean it's almost too obscure to not be true. Who'd make it up?

We'll see, I suppose.

We currently have a LB who is from Cyprus in our under 18 team, could he have something to do with this maybe.
