A really well put together site, very informative and good fun to see the type of player you would like to sign for Torquay. Karleigh Osborne CB and Kudus Oyenuga CF caught my eye.

Adam Lockwood, just released by Doncaster would be a great signing. As would Dean Holden. Either of those would be a top drawer replacement for Ellis, and just what Ling seems to be looking for.

I think the list shows that there is plenty of quality and potential out there without having to spend big on transfers.

Adam Lockwood, yes please Nick, him and Saah, with Cruise as cover, Pokey in between the sticks, could have a defence tighter than a ducks poo-poo hole.

That PFA site is effectively the old givemefootball content, in a slighty jazzier format. Invaluable info at this stage of the season.

Saw Lockwood as the stand-out name a couple of weeks back. Not the most implausible suggestion either, and would be just the sort of signing we need. Experienced and a goal threat from set pieces, also familiar with the area. I can see a lot of clubs in for him.

Aside from that, I don't recall a dearth of central defensive talent on there, which makes me wonder whether we might be looking at buying someone in? £40k on a decent centre half would be a better investment than £40k on Bodin.

Nah - did not do so well for Northampton last year and we are 1 year on so would not like to take that gamble

If Adam Lockwood came in I'd be absolutely delighted. Looked really good when he was here before and I'm sure he's got better with the more experience he's gained!

Don't think so:

0 [0]

2000
→ Maidenhead United (loan)
0 [0]

2001
→ Forest Green Rovers (loan)
10 [1]

2001
→ Yeovil Town (loan)
6 [0]

2001–2006
Yeovil Town
137 (7)

2005–2006
→ Torquay United (loan)
9 [3]

2006–2012
Doncaster Rovers
152 [8]

Rich is right. Matt Lockwood was the one who spent several years at Leyton Orient.

Gary Roberts would be a great signing but I guess we could not afford the wages he would demand.
A skillful player with goals in him and at 28 great experience.
