Set to sign for the gas according to football league rumours on twitter.

Anyone heard anything about this at your end?? and what is he like??

Definitely won't believe this until true- he's one of the players that I can't see letting us down- unless of course enough money is thrown our way.

Can't see this happening at all. He and Mansell are two players I'd expect would stay here - neither had the best relationships with Buckle in my opinion, and they've both been stalwarts for a long time.

It's a complete load of shit. Not even a decent rumour and not worth discussing.

Nicho? As if. Buckle almost got rid of him last Christmas 'cos he thought he wasn't up to League Two standard. I would be very surprised if he upped sticks and moved north to your lot.

It was a transfer rumour on twitter.

He only asked if you had heard anything, or whether you thought there was any truth in it.

Surely you are the best people to ask.

Guys I saw the same rumour on Twitter. It didn't come from their fans.

Does not matter who it came from - it is still 'a rumour' and a very very weak one at that!

I saw it, and questioned it.

Highly unlikely in my opinion.

Interesting wording too.. "set to sign for". As if the deal is basically done with just a bit of paper to be signed. Very surprised that nothing had come out before about it, which makes me doubt the truth in it.

As much as I like Nicho, had we gone up this season, I don't think he would've coped with L1 football. If he does leave, it would only be for money or perhaps one last hurrah, but I think it'll shorten his playing career by at least 1 season if he goes to a team very capable of being promoted.

This League2Rumours does seem to be pretty accurate as I tweeted it a rumour i heard ages ago and it wouldn't retweet it unless I could provide a source.

Not saying it's going to happen but worth discussing.
