A new season... same format as the past 13. Up to five players from today please if you were at the game.

If the match was based on the first 20 minutes, I'd nominate the entire team!

However only 3 players stood out as the match wore on:

Will Jenkins-Davis - A cut above all the other players throughout. Great energy and determination until he was mysteriously substituted late on.

Mark Halstead - Kept us in the game with two outstanding saves, one with his feet

Dan Mrtin - A late substitute but showed how to defend properly, if a little rugged attimes

The rest need to get up to speed - and quickly!

I’ll agree, WJD looked the part, Halstead played well and made a couple of excellent saves, no chance with either of the goals.

The rest, sorry guys, I need to see more!
