I thought I read somewhere he was being released to come back for the season. Like a player loan !
He's only with us until we get someone in to replace him.
New physio is Kai Hepworth who worked with Johnson at Cheltenham. Confirmed in the final paragraph of this article:

Doesn't surprise the club have found someone quickly, physio leaving is hardly the biggest disaster in the world, there's no shortage of suitably qualified physio's about to fill such a vacancy.
