Planning on making the commute from Bristol. BBC Weather says it’s raining from 2pm onwards, albeit showers. Has there been much rain overnight? This game needs to be on!!

No.
Better not be anyway.
I came down yesterday and the ground is reasonably dry around the Bay now. Cloudy but dry now and I don't see any problems with showers on the pitch (even if they are hail which was mentioned in the forecast).

Certainly wouldn’t have thought so. It was so dry on Saturday that they were watering the pitch!! (Causing quite a few players to lose their footing)

See this thread has been picked up by some Chelmsford fans. No, this game is not in any doubt at all, due to either the weather or pitch, been dry for 2 weeks now, rain over night was light, and so far today no rain hardly at all, currently sunny, with some clouds about.

It better not be off. This is going to be a nail-biter for sure. Win this and... well.... get those calculators and chickens at the ready!

Hi guys.

First-time from Wales here. Always watched your progress from afar, usually follow Oxford It's or latterly Newport County near where I live.

I'm on holiday down in Devon til Friday, just me and my well-behaved dog. Fancy watching tonight's game but would have to bring the hound as I can't leave him alone in the caravan. Odd request I know but are dogs generally allowed in the home end, preferably standing?

Many thanks

Dee

Teach him to sit then he can go in Bristows. 8-]

In all seriousness, i've no idea. Ring the club. I wouldn't have thought it would be ok due to some health and safety reasons tbh but no idea. Best of luck!

There used to be a blind supporter who would stand on the pop side with his dog, suggest you bring a white stick with you.

This generally helps sell the idea that you're a Torquay fan, too :)

Thanks guys.

I'm a local parks football referee so often been told I'm blind.
So, either bring my dog plus a white stick and dark glasses or phone the club for confirmation?

Never taken my dog to a game before but don't see why it would be an issue.

Would think it's highly unlikely that you would be allowed to bring your dog in although I'm sure it would be better behaved than some of the crowd

If your dog's called Bryn by any chance, then I'm sure he'll be more than welcome.

With a busy Plainmoor tonight I very much doubt you'd be able to take your dog but call the club for a definitive answer.
