Ryan brunt got released by Exeter the other day. I would like to see him at Torquay next season as he is now fully fit. I reckon it would be up for staying local

Same thing was being said this time last year but the trouble is he played 2 games last season as he was injured and was a long term injury victim the term before as well so the risk is massive with him.

it is slightly concerning that brunt is being linked to Truro and hodges saying they are going to make him an offer, surely we should be all over him, the exact forward you want at this level and should be doing all we can to get him, if we lose out on him to Truro this surely proves the ambition (none) and lack of ideas this club really has.

3 games in 2 years......
Yes the exact sort of player we should be all over!
Pay good money for injury prone players always seems to work for us.....

Yes but maybe a medical would be undertaken first?!

I am sure Exeter did one of those with him last year - which worked out well!

Just posted the same on the other site. Even though we are utter shite if its a toss up between Truro and us you would think that it unlikely that Brunt would choose Truro.
A fit Brunt would be more than useful - but he hasn't been fit for a long time.

0 goals in the last 2 seasons, with albeit 1 appearance in those 2 years.
Just what we need, a player who can't get on the pitch due to injury - He makes Josh Gowling look indestructible!
I want the club looking at young, hungry, injury free talent. The type who can be persuaded to join under the vision of being improved (with our offer of full time football) and placed in a shop window, then sold on for a profit. Not JP Pittman, Ryan Clarke, Gowling types.

If his fitness levels are suitable for the rigours of NLS I would say sign him up - we will need a big unit to play up front - something we don’t have as yet. Clearly if there is ambiguity about his fitness do not sign but it could be he could prove to be a worthwhile acquisition if fit enough?!
