I’ve just been on a week’s holiday in a place where internet access has been sporadic at best.
It seems I’ve not missed out on much forum-wise. People are taking pops at each other over past failings. The Nicholson v Owers debate continues to rage. Some say Luke Young is a fat Argyle ****, others counter that he is the reincarnation of Eusebio.
Here’s the thing. It really doesn’t matter. We’re a rubbish little club in a rubbish little town enduring season after season of dreadful form. Our owner doesn’t care about our plight and neither does anybody else apart from a dozen or so ‘keyboard warriors’ on here.
Let’s all find something else to do with our time. It’s lovely and sunny outside and life’s just too short to be wasting our time with this rubbish. Thank you.

Such a shame it wasn't a fortnights holiday, but that would just delay this pointless thread.
Could I have waited for another 7 days ? Who knows, who knows indeed.

To be fair I agree with the sentiment of the original post - almost every single discussion thread, no matter how seemingly unrelated, appears to result in a Nicholson vs Owers debate!
Perhaps the mods can set up a separate Nicho vs Owers thread and transfer all the content related to that matter into its own discussion thread so that other topics can remain on topic.
Alternatively, the same handful of people who keep steering the conversation that way could be warned or banned from posting!!

All threads inevitably go off topic and not just around the NvO debate. Eventually people then loose interest and the thread dies.That's the nature of forums like this.
As for warning or banning people, what you are saying is if you don't like it you want it banned.

Of course they're bloody not. They're saying that off-topic sh*t should be moved to the correct topic thread, as is done in most forums to improve quality. Sorry if that was difficult to grasp.
