So really you would be expecting tomorrow some news. It seems we are all pinning our hopes on these signings but without being negative what quality can be expect to get at short notice that other more organised clubs haven't already picked up on.

I think Bodin has done amazingly well and sadly it is with regret that i have to follow that with the words....since leaving Torquay. :-|
He was 95% absolute dogsh*te for Torquay for whatever reason and i don't think anybody could have any arguments that he mugged the football club off BIG TIME with his powder puff unproductivity in a yellow shirt. The bit i got wrong is that i said he was conference level at best and couldn't play at a higher level. He has proved me wrong and i'm ok admitting that.
It was Dave (forever tufc) who did say once that perhaps when Bodin gets in a side playing well, playing with confidence and with better players that we'd see the best of him and i obviously thought Dave was talking complete bullsh*t but hey Dave. You were right man!

Truth is i don't like the bloke (Bodin not Dave forever :na: ) purely because he gave this football club a cracking goal away at Crewe and f*ck all else in 2 years and for that reason i don't wish him well as is my prerogative. Truth is also that he has the ability to progress higher up the footballing pyramid whether i like it or not.
Fair's fair.
even davey has turned us down!! that's another member of the squad gone!! ffs might aswell padlock the gates now

Joined Boring Wood - it's on the OS just now. Gnabouyou, Davey - the words 'sinking ship' and 'rats' come to mind.

Davey is from Welwyn Garden City just up the road from Boreham Wood and (yes) that penalty incident the other day looks even more contrived than when Scott Partridge used his 'other' foot to miss that one at Griffin Park when he had already agreed to sign for them straight after the match the more you view it!
Even worse was Davey's total dis-interest in tracking his player (Balanta) at the set piece for the first goal. Wood need him because they have lost the services of Dean Wells for the rest of the season and it works out just fine for them.

At the end of the day, the club needs players who actually WANT to play for Torquay United and have some sense of pride in wearing the shirt. I've said this before on this forum that Ben Gerring was a limited footballer but had huge pride in playing for his home town club and never gave less than 100%. Now of course captaining Truro City to great effect and likely to pass us as we go down. How we could do with his kind of spirit now.

Yes but we could without his utter ineptitude as a footballer!
