As the commentators just said, he'll now be out for 3 games over Christmas where we'll have nothing up front. Time for Atieno to step up methinks!

**** sake, why do we bother going to that shithole, just volunteer to leave one bloke out for three games and give Stanley 3 points, save us all the bother of travelling and playing the match!
Matt.

Today is a write-off, but missing Howe for the next three games will be huge, we have literally nothing else up front. Atieno or McPhee... it's like being asked whether you want your finger or testicle trapped in a car door.

FFS!! That's two season's in a row we've had a player sent off in the first half at Accrington! Howe is going to miss Swindon, Oxford and Argyle!!

Accrington is possessed by satan. Howe out over christmas, we've got no other strikers who can score goals. The next bad run i was certain would come is perhaps now upon us. Just hope its not gonna last too long. Oh well, amazingly pleased with my decision not to go today and still, lets get behind the lads and Ling might as well tell them to have a real go second half, its the least the fans deserve. If we get beat 4 or 5 then fair enough. Lets just attack them and see what happens.

Howe off!
Out for 3 games....
Now we'll see how worryingly thin this squad is over the xmas period.
It's gotta be the most horrible dump to go to in this league......and we always get dicked and have red cards there.
Shit ground, no fans, always in money trouble......they'll end up back in the Northern leagues one of these days, wont come soon enough for me.

Awful half.
Started badly, could have already been 2 down before they scored. We've played o.k football in patches, but too often resorted to long ball and played right into accy's hands. We've had a couple of half chances but nothing too clear cut, but up until the sending off the same could be said for them.
Can't comment on the sending off too much, as it was too strange. Basically Rene and their full back were in a foot race, the full back slid in and cleared the ball, both he and Rene fall in a heap and Rene is sent off. At first I thought it was a harsh sending off for their man. The ref had absolutely no hesitation, so perhaps Rene left a boot in or left the ground as he went 50/50 with their lad. Need to see it again.
After that we had a couple of efforts blocked, possibly by a hand but with no penalty awarded, whilst they hit the post and had the rebound cleared off the line. Going to be an uphill (literally, as we are now playing up the slope) struggle. Need to get Tai on and hope he has the game of his life. He - and us - need it!
Oh, and it's COLD!
