Excellent that we are 1-0 up! Let's hope we can hold onto this!.

Why Buckle persists with LRT is beyond me. Fair enough, needs must when Nicholson was injured, but you can't compare the two. As for the inclusion of Macklin ahead of Stevens? Stevens did have a bit of a mare on Saturday when he came on, but LRT and Macklin are 2 of the worst players to have put on a Torquay shirt in recent years (and let's face it there have been a few other candidates...).

Buckle does mystify me sometimes with his thinking... :aww:

Wow, Really? Name a game where we have lost with Rowe Turner in the team in the league. Theyre both young players, expect them to step up next season, I dont see where you make out "2 of the worst players to have put on a Torquay shirt in recent years". Cannot believe that really.

Edit: If I could 'like' that comment Fletch, I would!

30 years of watching TUFC give me a fair understanding of a "half-decent" player. Admittedly both are young and may well improve, but right now I feel we have better options.

Remember that football is a game of opinions. We all have them, which is why we have forums like this. Luckily it is not a game of intelligence as you are obviously lacking giving your inability to have a reasoned discussion and resorting to your juvenile response! :slap:

This is what i just text to my mates at half time:

Half time 1-0. Not the greatest half we've played to be fair. Started alright, robinsons goal was awesome - great vision to find him, perfect first touch and a long range rocket although the keeper should have done better. We've had the better chances - branston had a header scrambled behind by the keeper, while Robbo forced a much better save from point blank range and zebs just missed connecting with the rebound. But Cheltenham have had more possession, just not carved out any real threat until the last few mins of the half. Potter isn't coming off his line for crosses and can see us getting caught out there. Macklin isn't having the best of games on the left, plenty of space but doing nothing with it, would like to see Gilligan on. Kee not making much impact, in fact apart from zebs non of our front men are doing much. Could do with better possession second half.

Is that all? Over 40 for me so I can probably recognise a good player when I see one as well. As Murph pointed out we have yet to lose when he has played. As you say its all about opinion, hence my comment
