You'll definitely pass for being over concession age, Andy.

I don't really fancy us to get anything tomorrow. We are, obviously going to lose 'some' games and I always think Port Vale are going to be a tough team to visit. It is not that I think they at better than us at but that it will be just one of those days. Plus the absence of Downes will be major, I think, but as long as we have everyone for the Plymouth game next week I don't mind so much writing this game off. That could be me being unnecessarily pessimistic but just the feeling I have. I would gladly take a point.

We shall win on Saturday. Port Vale and their fans are far from confident.

September will be a good month for us.. :-D

Seems the majority have got their wish:

All the best to him - hope he has as good a debut as Niall did.

Good. One of my favourite things about last season was the faith shown to all members of the squad. Loaning someone in for one game would say a lot about how McKenzie and other squad players are viewed by the management. Thompson has already been given a chance and was magnificent, now its McKenzies turn and good luck to him. Hopefully Craig and Cruise will be given similar opportunities when there is a space available.

Not what I've seen on their board. It's almost as if they haven't seen L2 before. All the usual nonsense coming out - "we've got to be beating teams like Torquay"
"This is a piss poor division, worse than ever"
"I feel it's the likes of Bradford who will be too good for us"

Teams like Torquay who have made four playoffs in five years, two finals and one promotion, you mean?
Piss poor division, wait 'til you see a proper team, because so far, I've seen excellent football from TUFC, Chelts and Rochdale.
The likes of Bradford, who have finished 18th in each of the last two seasons. Yet they're not bothered by the team funding 5th and 7th in the same period?
Madness!

Matt.

I browse TFF and there fans are saying that the "We should be beating teams like Torquay" attitude is either from idiots, or those who feel PV should be making a promotion challenge and therefore need to beat teams like us at home. So I wouldn't get too upset by it.

I did a BSc in Animal Management & Welfare at Lincoln in 2005-2008 but didn't do as well as you would have done probably!

I've spent the last 12 years working for the RSPCA and DogsTrust looking after animals mate. To be honest i am considering a complete career change so thanks for reminding me. :-D . I just need to get my thinking cap on.
