Am I correct in saying McGavin’s suspension will be for the Chelmsford match, leaving him available for Taunton midweek? Hopefully have one of the many injured back next week to fill his position.

Why would that be the case? If you're right it might be handy in giving others time to return for 7 days time.

At the start of the season people were saying that suspensions in this league do not come in to effect until a week later; having said that it doesn’t always seem to work out that way. I guess we’ll find out an hour before the kick off on Tuesday.

Midlandgull the rumour is Livingston FC who are bottom of the Scottish Premiership with 11 points from 16 games!!

More good news is that Maidstone’s 20 goal leading goal scorer, Levi Amantchi, has left them to join Bromley.

If all they can afford is a player from National League south, then we aint going to be getting much for him. Having said that, it must be a substantial pay rise for him to tempt him from the delights of South Devon to the grim frozen North.
