A win is a win but the performance was poor. Defensively, the team worked hard with Angus and Nathan providing a very solid display. Nico was roasted time and time again by the Macclesfield right midfielder and right back. How they didn't score I will never know.
The goal came from a Racchi corner and was the only decent cross we put in all night.
Wright played well in the second half and Hancox was far too lightweight up front. The wind almost blew him away.
The road to Wembley continues but we looked clueless in the final third and it was very much a game of kick and hope.
