Don't think Alex Rowe could ever reasonably be considered as "disruptive influence" and if you look at the entire Boyce family envolvement it has never been anything other than positive.

The final paragraph was very much tongue in cheek !
I am very disturbed to hear this news and believe that the club will be a lesser place for his absence.
Another thought has occurred - do the exiting directors have loans to the club, and if so, when will they require these to be repaid? Are our finances in sufficient shape to absorb a call on cash?
I note there is comment of the arrival of "new blood" - let's hope this is indeed new impetus and not just "mates" of the remaining directors to dish up same old/same old.

Chauffeur driven Rolls-Royce parked outside Plainmoor at the moment - personalised number plate of CR 1
Anyone any ideas who that could be?

It seems , from a google search, that the number plate CR 1 has some significant history attached to it ....
"Another interesting plate from the initial series of registrations was Y 1. This was acquired by Arthur Thring, who by "coincidence" happened to be the person (First Parliamentary Counsel) responsible for drafting the Registration Act. The first transfer of a registration from one vehicle to another was on 3rd March 1904, when Dr.Robert Lauder of Southampton, transferred the registration CR 1 from a 5hp Kimberley car to an 11hp Clement"
I guess we can rule out it still being in the hands of the good doctor now though .... o:)

Might explain why some of the board have walked. I always thought the guy was misunderstood.
Can we adapt him to play Left back?

CR1 - Courtney Richards. Bleedin' obvious, innit? Just signed a new contract - got his first pay-cheque at the end of July and went out and bought himself a roller.

WHAT ???? Brucie, you can't be serious !!!! Gawd help us if he gets involved with the club - he was hated at Argyle. If this is the case, it could well explain why Rowe, Boyce & Boyce decided to step aside. MaCauley may have got money to invest but I remember him as a total ars*hole when he was chairman of Plymouth.
