Hahaha, you know, I think I read that somewhere, but I can't remember where.

Completely false logic from people who can't think more than about 12 seconds into the future.
Matt.

Reading the Non League Paper to pass time at a kids party this afternoon I came across a snippet that linked us with ex Donny and Fleetwood midfielder Lee Fowler now in Wales with The New Saints.

Seems even oxford cant compete with eastliegh, they couldnt offer constable as much to stay, eastliegh look like being another rushden if they are not careful, it dont take a rocket scientest to work out that a business cant survive by chucking money down the drain, there ground only holds 3,000 and I reckon they will be lucky to get half that gate. Watch this space.

Oxford apparently offered Constable a one year contract only.

Nigel Farage seems to be a pretty good striker at the moment, achieved all the goals he aimed for as well as some as he didn't.

He's more of a right winger though. Still, be a good signing. =D

Yes thats correct brucie and asked him to take a pay cut, it seems clubs are waking up to the fact that they cant keep paying out crazy wages, the same has happened at wimbledon and crawley, players arevbeing asked to take pay cuts or move on, its seems that some clubs are starting to wake up to the fact that they will go under if they dont sort it out now.

Had to chuckle about Eastleigh heralding the signings of Constable and Midson. Both players (who are around 30) are apparently really ambitious - thats why they have turned down league 1 clubs and gone to a team who play in front of crowds of 700 - when presumably they could have been playing in front of far bigger crowds (not to mention proper stadiums) every week.
Moneys got nothing to do with it then - laughable.
Be interesting to see how Eastleigh and Diamonds fare next season.
