Ed Miliband says 'I'll win back UKIP voters'. As if the UKIP vote was a temporary protest vote. Really? UKIP voters want out of the EU because they want freedom, democracy and independence for the UK as well as the financial and economic benefits that would bring to the country. Miliband and Labour are pro-EU (as are the Lib-Dems and Cons) and would deny all this to the people. Win back UKIP voters? Really?

And Cameron's Machiavellian promise of an in/out referendum is in reality merely the promise of a referendum to approve a 'renegotiation' with the EU. Recent attempts to slur UKIP as a racist party show that our media and political establishment still don't understand that UKIP is not a protest vote but a massive groundswell of public opinion against the status quo.
