I've got a special task for you Sam. I want you to ask your boss where he/she sources their chickens from and i'll bet a thousand quid he/she can't tell you. You'll get passed on to someone else who will give you an equally vague and ambiguous answer. It's mystery meat!!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Just booked my ticket. They add a £1 charge for booking by card and they said there is nowhere to park other than a big dirt field at the back of the club which costs £3. WHAHAY!!!! I'VE SAVED A QUID!!!! I'll buy a lottery ticket with it! Wait, I can't. They are now two quid! Sh*t!! Ok i'll buy a bag of tomato flavoured Snaps and a carton of Ribena. Man I feel so alive.

I will be there. Booked the train tickets in the excitement of Hargreaves' appointment, and only slightly regretting it.

Just had a text from Scottish Dom. He is coming down too so the numbers might not be too bad all things considered. There will be a smattering of dedicated northern and midlands based Gulls too I don't doubt as well as a tiny few from Devon and the south making the long journey up independently. Quite looking forward to it actually. I might take a brief sojourn to Seaton Carew beach to clear my head and lungs before the potential big finale. I say finale as if we don't win this and other results go against us somewhat then I would be doubly doubly convinced that it would be our last chance.

I've not actually been to Hartlepool itself or the ground but I used to live and work near Middlesbrough in a little village called Great Ayton on the edge of the North York Moors amidst the shadow of the Roseberry Topping. I know the area fairly well. It will be another ground to tick off the list anyway.

You may as well just go to Hartlepool and have a wonder around Jacksons Wharf opposite the ground to clear your head. Can park over that way from memory and got The Millhouse next to the ground for a nice friendly drink.
Had many weekends there watching us against them and Darlo, shame I cant get up but will be will be thinking of you all up there.

I know that you spoon! :na:

I thought it might be some kind of harbour thing but I've googled it and it's just a pub! I actually want to walk along an open beach, murmur to myself a bit and go for a childish paddle. So Seaton Carew beach it is.

Good luck - if ever in our entire history we needed to win a game of football then this is it.
Having seen us fail to beat Hartlepool earlier on in the season I am amazed they are in the top half of the table.
Hargreaves should be impressing on our players that they are playing for their futures. Miracle needed.

Does he rhyme with Smashley Poeman?
