Well wasn't that just a brilliant game
Too frustrated to say anything but from what I gathered on twitter, the away end wasn't a happy place to be.

You were all so stunned only 3 pages of match day thread.
Must have been poor.

Long way to go in the season, and obviously we have injuries, but thank The Lord for Rochdale!! We were second bottom for much of the second half.
I just hope that things start getting better quickly or Juan's position will definitely be untenable (if it isn't already in some peoples eyes)

Could have something to do with the site being down perhaps?
Listened to the second half - I don't actually think that Juliant Gaunt is a bad commentator - at least he knows what he is talking about. Steve Breed was back on form as the summariser - he certainly seemed to be quite scathing about Alan Knill at the end of the game.
He made some fair points though - Knill has been allowed to bring in umpteen loanees - as Mr Breed stated - Does Knill know his best starting line up? - it doesn't look like it to me.
We didn't score again. Hawley doesn't look like he will get five goals if he plays until now and the end of the season.
I don't know what Benyon is supposed to do playing six minutes a match. Its time Hawley was dropped and Benyon was given a go.

I was being sarcastic. Growing too big for the equipment, seems the worse we play the more hits we get on here.
Working with host on a temp solution and future proof site plan.

I get the feeling that Hawley will be dropped, but not for Benners....

i totally agree brucie, it must be so frustrating for the players that were signed to the club in the summer then actually not given a fair crack and all
these loan players taking their places in the squad. i think that if we loose on saturday the pressure will really be on as we could be bottom by 5pm. how long do we realistically give Alan even the most patient supporter must be getting nervous.

I think the Board will hold on until at least January, if they get rid at all.

can they afford to go down as we have said before to pay knill of at say december he would be halfway through his contract so there would be approximately 35k left to pay. If we get relegated we loose 250k funding from the football league i think its a no brainer

We may have injuries and yes Pearce would have probably been a massive improvement on Cruise but we havn't scored again and that has nothing to do with the defence.
Knill has actually bought in some decent players on loan (Maccourt and O'Connor) but how many forwards do we have now? - Benyon,Hawley,Bodin,Cameron,Chapple,Cameron,MCallum and Azeez
Then lets go onto the midfield - Harding,Craig,Mansell,McCourt,Lathrope and now he has signed Mozika (bloody hell I hope he is good because the way things are going he won't be fit until March of next year.
Knill is over egging the pudding to me. Rather than sign eighty five forwards who can't score he should have started with a loan keeper to replace Rice.
If he gets Downes and Pearce back he should if he can keep O'Connor who is a bloody good player and play him at right back instead of Tonge who is too slow. Replace Nico at left back with Cruise and our defence will look ten times more solid and mobile than it does now.
Half the teams in this league are no better than us personnel wise so why the hell can't we win a game - its got to be down to the manager - surely his tactics are up the spout.

First half was ok, a fairly even affair but my gosh what a contrast in the second!! Absolutely dire, was one way traffic and quite frankly I was embarrased to be stood there watching it!!
Hawley needs to be dropped, offers absolutely nothing, would have Benners in there all day long!! And for all the Craig lovers on here, i'm sorry, but I can see hardly any potential in the lad whatsoever, he was dreadful.
Badly miss Downes and need him back asap, we just look really shakey without his prescence in there and even on our set-pieces we just don't seem to threaten at all!!
Knilly's got to do something soon or were just going to keep slipping up like this and eventually be in a mess we can't get out of
