Hi Guys.
SAme here too. I need a lift from Bristol. If Paul can be contacted he could pick all three of us up and we can all contribute and he can save his petrol money. and give Torquay United a help in staving off relegation. oH PAUL. Paul . Please look at this forum for the first time.
Glostergull,
The legend in the making that is Mr Candy has picked up my message, and, with any luck, may put me in touch with Paulie B, or anyone else, perhaps. Really hope I'm not distracting him from more important tasks today, in preparation for the game or the future of the club. I'll let you know soon as I hear anything.

Hey, hats off to you Joe for getting off your backside and trying to make things happen, a quality the apathetic public of the bay AND most of our playing squad would do well to learn. I'm just sorry you had a wasted journey after all that mate but total respect for making as much effort as you did!
I suppose it's too much to ask if you're going back down on tuesday then?

I have a feeling the ending will be changed when they release the movie of this story.

I asked Joe not to make public how the Club assisted him today in what turned out to be a wasted journey. It was a pleasure to meet Joe and to offer some assistance and I hope he will be able to return to Plainmoor in the near future.

I thought it would be a useful acquisition for the Club but maybe on reflection I should have asked the Board first! I imagine someone out there will have statistics on the shortest tenure for a chief executive?

Ha, I could have responded sooner if there was better internet connection on this train, I mean jet. It seems Mr Candy has given himself away as the good samaritan behind this trip, I was gonna keep things under cover myself. Yes the club does own a private jet, and yes, it is available in emergency situations. Jokes aside, I wanted an adventure today, and I got one, just not quite the right kind! I'm glad the story kept you captivated Chunky

I was pretty absorbed in the plot myself. Like an improvising Tom Cruise. Nice to meet you briefly today AC. Let's nail these b**tards on Tuesday night. I will not feel today was in vain if we win this game. See you all at Morecambe.
