Well it's hardly more ridiculous than the notion of us signing Richard Logan, based on where he is and where we are. Like Alex said, gave us his all last season and that to me is far more commendable than some players we have currently who might want to learn from his attitude.if it was such a ridiculous thread it wouldn't have garnered 30 replies, those purporting it as pointless wouldn't have contributed and it would have been locked or deleted. Run. That. Bath.

Again, disagree. We need cover for Rene. Logan would provide that (whether that's to an adequate level is another matter!), we don't need someone who can do several roles but none really to a high standard. It worked last year, as a stop-gap, but this year, I don't think so.

Logan played a level above us for the last three seasons and only this season played at our level and HAS been offered the chance to train with us so no comparison.

Don't disagree with what you say about McPhee and his attitude but the thread is pointless as he is currently employed in a coaching capacity, one we can't offer. The thread hasn't been locked or deleted but might as well have been.

Yeoman and Jarvis are more than adequate cover for Rene, especially on a one match basis. It's on the wings we need strengthening, we lack blistering pace and it won't be fair to expect too much from Macklin when he comes back. Just to add that I don't advocate the view of chris McPhee coming back, simply stated I admired the effort he put in. Also, I wouldn't be against the addition of Logan if that's the view the manager takes, worth a gamble I would surmise but not entirely sure his kind of player is what we require.

How about Robin Stubbs, there is a player who knows where the goal is, lives local and fits the budget. A player fitter, sharper and quicker, eats and drinks less than Logan go on give him a ring.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Nonsense!

Both are a completely different type of player to Rene, and in any match where one of them took his role in the 4-3-3, we would score zero goals.

So does Keith Arthur and he's not even a footballer but i'd take him over McPhee!
