Go to BBC Football, then League 2, then Torquay Unted...Previous reports will be in the middle of the page..enjoy !
If reports are always subjective, then keep your mouth shut...Simples !!![/quote]
Ah, I thought so, thing is pal, I'm a season ticket holder and I attend all the away games too, so I don't need to read reports, to form "opinions", I go to the games and get the facts of the matter first hand.
As to the idea that one of us should keep our proverbial mouths shut, I'm going to make the not-altogether-surprising suggestion that you follow your own advice for fear that you will continue to make yourself look a total bellend.
Matt.

Well done ! You obviously speak to Martin Ling and the players WOW. Perhaps the BBC need to speak to you for opinions and inside information !

I disagree with this for a few reasons. Firstly, crowds were down everywhere for the cup. Rovers only got 4k for Sheff United.
As I said earlier in the week, using hypothetical figures, if we charged a tenner for this game, we would have needed a crowd off over 3000 to make up the extra revenue. We know that wouldnt happen. 1800 isnt as bad as Id feared. With them bringing none and everyone having to pay i.e. No season ticket holders, who dont get cup matches included.

Get where your coming from Kernow, however I nearly didn't go myself and if the game had been say £10-£12 to go in we may just have got 2200-2400 had some atmosphere it may have felt like a normal league game instead of a pre-season friendly .
In turn that may have helped our team out of the rut they were in, in this game and you never know we could now be playing Hastings with a great chance of a money spining 3rd round tie.

Totally agree forever, not sure if I made clear what I meant.
It wasnt down to us, both sides have to agree, and based on what I aaid before about revenue, plus the fact that we have less atmosphere etc which you mentioned, makes it very clear that Harrogate did the right thing by refusing any price reduction.

No need to lock it - just stop posting on it and the thread will die a death.

Coley, I don't have a problem with people coming on here and expressing opinions, whether they go against the grain or not.
However, I have more respect for posters who are happy to come on here in both good times and bad. Looking at your 61 posts (yes, I am that sad), I can only find 10 that are in any way remotely positive, and you can't tell me that you have seen nothing this season to get excited about.

For your own sanity Scott please don't look back at all my posts or you'll be reaching for the cutlery draw!
