Right, just setting off from the relative warmth and sophistication of the south for the dive that is Accrington. Could an unbelievable amount of thermal gear on, got a feeling I'll need it!

I can't troj, i,ve got no transport today plus i refuse to pay £35 train fare which had i gone in the car it would have cost me half that, i'm not paying £16 to STAND ( when last year it was £3 cheaper) and to enjoy facilities that are non existent. There is a serious side to this troj as some of you may know i suffer seriously bad IBS which is generally under control but if i wanted to perform the most basic of human bodily functions at Accrington then i'm screwed. Anyone who has been there will know just how atrocious the toilet is (not plural - there is only one in a dank, pitch black portacabin that stinks like Exeter). Lewis Moody and Darren Fletcher will know what i'm on about!! I do get to most away games and have little trouble and many grounds have perfectly adequate facilities but i'm sorry , i cannot justify paying £16 for what i get at Accy. I am sad that i won't be able to go to watch the Gulls today but its just not worth the worry. Maybe next year if Accy get their act together and comply with the human rights act ( there must be something in this that states they must supply ADEQUATE toilet facilities if hosting an event / game? ) then i'll go again - IN THE CAR! Sorry about waffling on everyone, top marks to all the fans who have gone up there today and i just hope we can come away with a win. I WILL be having a rant Troj after the final whistle if we lose but i'll be doing it in front of Mr Stelling in the comfort of my nice warm living room without a witch, chav, or dark satanic mill in eyeshot!

accringtons price falling by the minute, the bookies dont fancy us then, good news, hills 6/5, 9/4, 23/10 H D A

the traditional 1-0 defeat is a tasty 13/2

leaving our game alone today, will lose my money elsewhere!

About 10 gulls fans here at the moment. Accy can't be expecting many of us as the terrace behind the goal is taped off! Bleak times!

As I said before, I went last year to Accy and I won't go again. Shocking place, shocking ground, awful pitch! At least I can say I've been there! :|

I hope that I'm going to listen to a good game on the radio today! :-D

COYY! :scarf:

That's going to be the last thing anyone can say about the pitch. In all fairness it's o.k this year. Well, by o.k I mean its got grass on it. It's looking soft, but then where wouldn't at this time of year. If we don't get a result today, don't fall into the trap of instinctively blaming the pitch.

What an absolute load of w*****s at Accrington. Why bother taping off the away end behind the goal if 99% of fans are wanting to stand anyway? So glad i didn't go now, stuck in some crappy seats with no legroom not being able to move around to keep warm. I HATE it when clubs do that it really does p**s me off big time. WE'VE GOT FANS THAT WANT TO STAND AND LOVE TO STAND AND YOU HAVE TERRACES - LET US USE THEM YOU INBRED CHILDREN OF WITCHES!!!!!!!!! Told you i couldn't let the day go by without having a rant. But honestly. There'll only be 3 people there in the whole crowd so whats the point?!!!!! I just hope they go out of business or get relegated. Cheers Jeff for the update and i bow in reverence to all you hardy Gulls that have made the journey that even Scott of the Antartic would have said 'FORGET IT!'.Come on now lads lets give em a real battering today and come home with 3 valuable points. Not sure this is the type of game Stevens should be playing in ( not having a go just feel we need players to be involved at all times cos its going to be arduous out there today - we need battlers ).Hope he does well though.

If we lose today I won't blame it on the pitch (I'm not Paul Buckle ;-) ). It's always a difficult game against Accy, especially away! But we are due a result against Stanley and I hope it's today!
