Good morning, Gulls! What a morning it is. I’m still buzzing from yesterday’s game. I can’t quite believe we came back.

Sam Jones has penned his thoughts on an eventful encounter! You can read it here:

Hi guys - what a match at the weekend, so much incident Sam did well to cover it all in his excellent match verdict.

Anyway here is my latest TT Blog discussing various TUFC matters (but mostly that game!) https://wp.me/p8hUrT-3q0

"Late equalisers and winners have been such a common occurrence against the Gulls over the years, but this team of heroes has shifted that trend"

Cheers

An average game but what a day to be a Torquay United supporter. Here's my thoughts from yesterday...

The excitement for the trips to Gateshead, Fylde and Hartlepool is building already.

Hi guys, has it sunk in yet?! Promotion wrapped up with 3 games to spare, very weird and hugely enjoyable! No end of season stress at Plainmoor is almost unheard of...

Here is my latest TT Blog mainly talking about the main man - Gary Johnson (with a few other bits in there as well!).

Excellent summary of 2018/19 season Dom.
I guess you can imagine how gutted I was not to be at Plainmoor on Saturday.
See you on Easter Monday.

Agree - excellent summary. I liked the reference to the change of Gary Ower's 'don't lose' philosophy to Gary Johnson's 'win' philosophy. The change from negative, defensive football to high-tempo, attacking football has been there for all to see. It's entertaining, what the fans like to see and they have returned to enjoy their Saturday afternoon football. Sadly, Gary Owers didn't have GJ's experience and charisma to create a successful side, but to his credit he brought some very good young players to Plainmoor, and negotiated extended contracts for Reid, Davis and Keating. Let's not forget that.

I doubt it will be any consolation to you Portugull, but the Eastbourne game was not the best of the season ....... :scarf:

Cheers mate much appreciated! Fair point on Owers, his recruitment (mainly on the defence) wasn't all bad - it at least gave GJ something to build on.
