Winds horrendous-but helping to dry out pitch rapidly.
Won't be pretty,if it goes ahead, but right now its sunny and dry so would say 50/50.

50/50, 60/40, 40/60 70/30 that is the question, who knows why or indeed when, but at the end of the day, what's it all about, clichés are ironic in their nature, pass me the pills.

Pitch was playable at 9, there has been hardly any rain, and it's now windy and sunny. Any 12pm inspection following this last 3 hours isn't going to give any different information. Any prolonged period of heavy rain between now and 3pm will see the game called off, if it stays how it is, we must assume it'll go ahead.

Got a horrible feeling it will start but not go the distance. Suppose at least that saves us Bury's expenses.
God i'm turning into a miserable git.

A recent game at Accrington was abandoned wasn't it? The Plainmoor pitch isn't that bad! It certainly depends more upon the changeable weather than anything else.
Actually, come midday, anybody reading my earlier posts (p.8 onwards) will realise how brilliantly predictive they were..
Or not...

Next band of showers incomming but given how fast the wind is it will have moved on quickly

I'm now just standing at my window, with views towards Torquay. I saw 'towards' as opposed to 'of' because I can no longer see Torquay, however more blue sky is appearing behind the latest shower.
This is going to be touch and go right up until 3pm, and even if it does go ahead, it'll still be doubtful right up until the final whistle blows.
