I've been banging on about Ed Palmer for ages. He lives near Harbertonford and plays for Bideford after spells with Truro etc. Was on our books making the subs bench a couple of times when we were high up in League 2. He could do a good job for the Gulls in defence. He is skillful as well as mightily tough and good with free kicks. He must be worth a try. Discipline could be better but will give 100%. Started with the Gulls and would be an asset. Just the sort of player we need for a battle.

I'm not sure of the facts, but I believe Ed Palmer had a fall out with Steve Tully and that was why he suddenly left Truro. Tully quickly signed Jamie ? (sorry, name's gone - age, you'll understand ! :-/ ) * to replace him when Paul Cox let him go due to budget restraints. Bideford are struggling big-time this season and lost 5 - 0 at home last Saturday. Not a great advert for any of their defenders !! * RICHARDS - the tablets are working !!
