Don't you think he's getting good advice because he's changed the formation, playing narrow and playing Brisco and left the centre half out. :engflag: :keepie:

Alex Russell was apparently at the game on Tuesday. Possible he may have been scouting for his hometown club, but....

Until we can afford a decent salary for an assistant I would guess we'll have to wait for the ideal appointment. I've heard Kenny is about to retire anyway so that might add a few quid to be able to tempt someone.

apparently, Aggy is no longer assistant manager at Southport, & no-one is listed in that position on the club website. The plot thickens......(Nothing to say, of course, that he doesn't still help them out from time to time , of course, in a scouting role )

well if he was scouting for Southport he didn't do a very good job

Added in 2 hours 42 minutes 14 seconds:
I would not have an assistant manager at the moment ,I would have Ian Holloway as a consultant .

Not all managers need an assistant and after the last three we've had all you need is someone to coach and assist with the training. If Kevin has got someone he trusts and can talk football with them then he'll be ok.
The captain can then become a key person to confide in and when he's ready he can appoint the person he wants.

As predicted by Southampton Gull, Kenny is leaving.

No, Flowers turned Kidderminster down in the end. Kiddie have now appointed former FGR and Leeds Utc Manager David Hockaday as their new head coach.

Flowers would be great appointment from a GK perspective for the development of Lavercombe and Speiss.

Money is the issue, for what we're paying it'll be someone like Robbie Herrera ;-)

Ah.

I like Robbie, but Not the appointment I was hoping for. Still, you get what you pay for, I suppose.

Anyone know what Alex Watson is up to? His big brother being an England coach would bring the much vaunted 'contacts'...
