What an excellent signing!

Luke Young - simply a five-star display. All over the pitch and two great goals.
Angus McDonald - commanding display in central defence
Courtney Richards - all action. Gets his tackles in, moves the ball quickly and forward (complete opposite to the player he's replaced in the side)
Aaron Downes - has developed into a great central defensive duo with Angus plus well taken goal
Duane O'Achie - caused havoc in their defence - chased everything

Best all round team display for a long, long time. Tad disappointed with Jordan Chappell. It was his chance to shine when Cameron went off but ran into too many blind alleys and misplaced several passes. Toby Ajala was a candidate for my five but he sometimes tries to be too clever when a simple pass would be more effective but he will learn and become a better all round player.

Really hard to single out five players from what was an excellent performance but for me unsung and perhaps unnoticed by some was Tom Cruise. Fantastic performance from him, so he will get my m.o.m because he has come in for an awful lot of stick. Hopefully, todays performance will give him the confidence to keep going.
