ten days between replays is the normal rule, reckon it'll be played on 25th as the crawley gas game was on 3rd round day

According to the Oxford Mail newspaper, replay will be next Tuesday so our game should go ahead as scheduled.

No, not in this one Andy. This game has been postponed twice before as Charlton's ground was waterlogged, so unlike all the other gams tonight this was not a replay and extra time only happens in replays.

Not entirely sure when they will replay this as in theory it could be replayed next Tuesday. I suppose though that might cause problems for both clubs with regard to ticketing and travelling arrangements etc if they have to play the 4th Round game on the Saturday.

I guess we will find out soon enough ....

Sorry, yes it appears that the replay will be next Tuesday, with the winners playing in the 4th round on the Saturday. I guess we will all be rooting for Charlton next week then as I don't think another two week break would really do us any favours and would also mean that the rearranged game would be a midweek one too. Not only that but Oxford will also have played 5 games in the space of 2 weeks as well. I think a Charlton win, after extra time and penalties of course, would be ideal!

nonsense these days draw a game on the saturday, replay was always the tuesday of that week, draw that and play again on the thursday, now the police need a week to arrange things

i guess the fa cup will go the way of the league cup and be extra time immediately after first game is drawn, what has happened to the worlds greatest cup competition?? thanks for that premier league and champions league!

Bloody good job. I hadn't allowed for the replay being played on Tuesday, so was right enough about Charlton not getting it back.

Might actually work in our favour, if they've got one eye on the Cup instead of our measly three points.

I'd say, if they play well, they'll beat Charlton (but this is the Cup, so anything could happen).

Matt.

Yes, but we dont want Oxford to win as it will mean playing their next round match on Sat. 25th, the day we are sipposed to meet them. :S
