Danny, he had a terrible game against Rovers. I'm a fan of McCourt and would like to see him stay too, as I think you're right about him outperforming Mansell. I wondered if Knill tried to go with a change the fans wanted after his performance against Rovers to get them onside, but judged terribly as McCourt was, along with Bodin, one of our better players against City and got subbed!!!dannyrvtufc4life wrote:

RJC.......By the time we were pressing for a winner, McCourt had been brought off.
Oh, given his age, you'd have to say he has the potential to be miles better than Manse, I just think he played too many Tyrone Thompson passes(eyes closed and hooked over his head) and gave the ball away on far too many occasions. Goeff Harrop says he's tinkered with a few things and wants to take the game to Morecambe, so if he's going to continue with three in midfield, I will go for Mansell, Labadie and most likely McCourt, if it's a two man midfield, Mansell/Labadie.
Mansell is a top Torquay player and with the players available should figre at right back.
