Thanks for that Stan, a good view from a 'neutral' supporter and I do agree with your post overall. On the rivalry part, it's the same old boring story. We know Argyle v City is the big rival, but hasn't been for years and years and I think my mate RoadRunner can help me with this with information of the 70's. Yourself and City both don't look at us as rivals, but I couldn't care less, we've won plenty enough times to class ourselves as a competitive rival if anything. I hate Exeter and class them as the closet rival we have, I don't really have hatred for Argyle, just the arrogance annoys me from the greens.

thing is stan from pafc as my mate danny says , this thing about you and city hating each other and us just being the little boys up the road is fairly recent by which i mean mid eighties onwards, when i started watching the gulls it was us and the greens who were top dogs, city were just an interferance then, but as time has gone on things have changed, in the 60s we played you in front of 20,000 at home park and then at plainmoor in front of 15,000, city were lucky to break 4,000 gates in the days we were getting 7 or 8,000, yourselves well into double figures, i know that you and city like to think yourselves now as the big boys with us as an interferance but that aside we welcome your input on here and you are always welcome and you will always be the biggest club , NOT ALWAYS THE BEST, not sure if you were watching in the 60s and 70s but thing were different then, and it does get a bit boring after a while hearing about the big club attitude and the little club in torbay. anyway we dont see you as our rivals, i always thought as us getting on well and city being the rivals. but hey do we really care, all we want is our teams to do well, and i look forward to a couple big games against you this season, really looking forward to new years day when we will again make a noise at home park. all the best stan!
