barnet v D&R - home win - and will drop D&R further in the sh*t.
rochdale v shots - home win.
cheaty XI v wombles - ditto.
wycombe v acrres - ditto.
gargs v greeks - greeks to do us a favour - for a change!
brizzie v york - home win.

think you will find that this season we lead dirty leeds 2-1 on aggregate. and their goal was never a pen!

Good: to see Argyle beating Excretia today.
Not good: to see us on the same number of points as Argyle, with the same goal difference,
but they have a game in hand...!!
And they've won three games in a row..!!
Must cheer the lads (Gulls not Greens obviously) on to victory on Monday..

I think we will win 1 draw 1 and lose 3 of our last 5 games. That puts us 8 points clear of York. That means that York have to win 3. The probability of that IMHO is slim.

After todays games, 2 of 8 will go down. 4 points seperates the bottom 8.
Torquay ................... Aldershot ................ York ............ ............ Plymouth
Gillingham (A) ........... Port Vale (A) ........... Accrington (H) ............ Cheltenham (H)
Barnet (H) ........ Wycombe (A) .......... Northampton (A) .............. Burton (A)
Morecambe (A) ......... Southend (H) .......... Southend (H) ......... Chesterfield (A)
Bristol Rovers (H) ........... Dag & Red (H) ......... Dag & Red (A) ......... Rotherham (H)
............................... Rotherham (A) .................................... Rochdale (A)
Accrington ........ Wimbledon ......... Barnet ........ Dag & Red
York (A) ....... Bristol Rovers (A) ...... Chesterfield (H) ........ Exeter (A)
Morecambe (H) ........ Exeter (H) ........ Torquay (A) .......... Oxford (H)
Bristol Rovers (A) ......... Gillingham (A) ....... Wycombe (H) ........ Aldershot (A)
Oxford (H) ....... Fleetwood (H) ........ Northampton (A) .......... York (H)
Thankfully many of them have to play each other which some sides need to be carful. Seriously out of all of them im happy with our run in. There all very winnable games.
I dont care how bad we wre today, that game is gone. The sooner people put this game behined us the better. Its in our own hands still and we won 2 out of the 3 games. If i was to predict who will go down from the fixtures i would say Aldershot and Wimbledon and York are in trouble the most.
Il wait for the abuse and the response that were loose all them games after we lost a game today. Were not going down and confident of it.

Preciting the results (excluding Torquay other than saying we'll beat Barnet) I have four teams finishing on 51 points -
Dagenham, Barnet, Accrington and Aldershot. York & Wimbledon on 52 & Plymouth on 53.
As long as we don't get hammered at Gillingham we'd need a win (Barnet) and two draws to be safe on 51 with our better (than some) goal difference.
If we don't beat Barnet then we'd be unlikely to catch them and assuming lose at Gillingham need 4 0r 5 points from Morecambe & Bristol Rovers.
A heavy defeat at Gillingham could be effectively minus one point - would we take 1.0 now?
Positives are so many teams involved, a lot playing each other and our last two games against teams with nothing to play for.

Dag & Red could be our save and grace. There now only 4 points out of it. They can either win the last 2 games and do us a favour or they lose the next 4 and find themself in big trouble.
For me i think aldershot are in big trouble, 3 real tough away games and two home games with sides that won lie down and roll over. Again the same with plymouth.
Noone has a easy run in and thankfully for us theres 7 other teams in trouble.

So, Brett, you see us winning two out of the last three games?
After today I am confident we cannot win two games. One, perhaps, if the team can be bothered to stir themselves against Barnet - and perhaps two draws. But with Howe about to get suspended for an early end to the season and Poke possibly out injured I can see us going winless and down into the conference.
I cannot see any grounds for optimism but then I said that four games ago before the Chesterfield performance and then had my spirits raised by an excellent performance - just pray that someone pulls another rabbit out of the hat.
