Re ref-watch - thanks to both Matt and Nick then. Jeff, if you barely noticed the ref at that game last season, he must be very good!

Ah, don't worry Bernard. If ever theres anything else you'd like including, give me a PM and I'll see what I can do.
As for everyone else, would anyone mind keeping this thread for the Burton game, and then I'll just edit the introduction to fit when the game actually is.. date, form, etc?
Saves me having to write up something similar again!

Save a copy of your post and copy it, or drag this one back, whatever you find easiest mate.

Do the referees follow their missed games around, or could we be assigned someone else?

I completely forgot about this game! ...looking forward to it now.
I think if the referee has been appointed a game; for the date, after it was postponed but before the rearrange then another will be appointed.

This will be a tough game. The Brewers are in a false position because of postponements and they could still put pressure on the playoffs if they win most of their games in hand.
I expect a narrow win or a draw.

Of course, regardless of anything to do with postponed games and that, but Burton do have one of the worst away records in the league this season. Their points per game (6 points from 10 games, 0.6ppg) is only better than Barnet with 8 points from 14 games, 0.57ppg. They also have the worst attack on the road in league 2 with 9 goals. A quick calc works out they score 0.9 goals per away game, which i think is only better than Stockport, Bradford and Northampton (all of whom hit zero at Plainmoor), and Stevenage.
Stats mean nothing, but still I think I'd rather face these than someone else at the moment!

The cleche is "a game of two halves" . . . two centre halfs called Branston and Moore.
I'm sure all Popsiders will give the big guy called Darren a warm welcome on his return.
Then get on his case to do everything to put him off his game.
