The game is now being segregated.
Fair play to you for betting before you know the team but that's a mug bet. Johnson could change at least nine of the starting eleven feasibly.
For me I would rather play all the fringe players.
If we go anywhere in this competition it would mean more and more postponements of league games. We have seen last week how a couple of quick league wins can make all the difference.
Should Truro fail to bugger off - we will end up with postponements once the winter kicks in + more postponements in the Trophy.
This could seriously damage our chances should we end up in the play offs at the end of the season. Its just not worth the risk.

Even a team of fringe players should beat Basingstoke. We are starting to see now that GJ has had a bit of time that we are better than the rest in this division, let alone down below.
I agree with Brucie - sorry Wivel , am I allowed to say that ? Think we are ok for this and the next round then Saturday league games get called off starting with Hemel away on Jan 12th a game I was and still am hoping to go to
Plus if we and Truro both get through and drawn at home in the next round .......it doesn't bear thinking about, take it there is no more news on Truro moving back?

I can see a strong line up, Johnson wouldn’t want to lose our momentum

You were right, an unchanged XI from last time out.Hammdog2601 wrote: 22 Nov 2018, 16:34 I can see a strong line up, Johnson wouldn’t want to lose our momentum

Now we know how he's thinking.Southampton Gull wrote: 21 Nov 2018, 13:51 I think arcadia makes a good point but I have a feeling the manager will put a strong side out simply to keep the current form as it is. If he makes wholesale changes it could disrupt the momentum we've built up. I doubt he sees them as needing a rest but we'll all know in a few days once the team is announced.

Interesting point from Paul on the comm that we have not kept a clean sheet for 6 games now.
Slightly worrying. Sendles-White may be in line for a recall soon if it continues, he obviously wasn't brought in to sit on the bench

Extra time and possible penalties is looming...
