Think there needs to be a complaints procedure available for crap refs.

Never thought I'd hear myself say this but Branston is starting to become suspect
I don't understand...
Ellis is better than Robbo at centre back...
Robbo is better than Mansell at right back...
Mansell is better in centre mid than Oastler...
Bevan has been one of the players of the season so far.
Gilligan has looked really sharp, Macklin has not been in favour for months.

= buckle has got carried away with his "tactical genius" over last four games and now thinks he can mould any old mob of players into game winners, yr not the tinkerman you think you are pb, never change a winning team!exilegull wrote:I don't understand...

Haven't seen enough of Gilligan yet or Potter to be fair. Agree with the other sentiments..

Ellis was very suspect for some time before being dropped.
Oastler has played very well when he has come into the side. Not saying hes better than Manse in CM cos hes a different kind of midfielder.
Plenty of people on here were saying Manse should go to RB cos he's better all round than Robbo.
Opinions opinions opinions...weve all got them
Potter is obviously a good keeper - but I think Bevan has proved he is one of the best in this division and has been in superb capped by a wonderful FA Cup appearance.
Listening to the game it appears that we would not have conceded the first or perhaps been so nervy and under pressure from all corners if the big man had have been playing.
I agree with Bixie - its too much tinkering which almost feelings like trying to show tactical genius

Bix, correct me if im wrong but the only change to the starting 11 since Barnet was Macklin in for OKane tonight (who lets face it has not played well for the last few games). Hardly major tinkering is it?bixieupnorth wrote:= buckle has got carried away with his "tactical genius" over last four games and now thinks he can mould any old mob of players into game winners, yr not the tinkerman you think you are pb, never change a winning team!

Just got out of the ground, deary deary me. LRT gets taken clean out off the ball infront of the linesman & he plus the referee do nothing...from that Oastler makes a fair (strong) challenge, gets booked, then they score from the FK.
Little things like that change games. Simple, blatant incidents cost points. Everytime away from home we always seem to get some incompetent clowns as officials...it really is gutting.
Cheltenham were clueless, rubbish, toothless in attack, & quite frankly how we conceded 2 goals to those bunch of retarded Robins I do not know. 2 points dropped & yet another 130 miles home to reflect on how we manage to do mission impossible & come away with 1/0 points instead of the deserved 3.
Cheltenham faithful were cheering like they won the Eorld Cup at the end & rightly so, they deserved feck all & comes as no surprise they've lost 4 on the bounce.
GRRRRR
