Scunthorpe finishing as the fitter, stronger, bigger, sharper side. Since the Stockley sub, no action by Knill. Nothing.
We're simply not good enough. And that starts at the top..
Game over. 3 - 1.

Expecting the directors not to sack him
How on earth do they then expect the gate reciepts to rise
Surely that has to be an equation that has to be evened up so the club can cash in on the Christmas period.

So, the Board sack Martin for "footballing reasons", yet he NEVER found himself this low in the league.
Surely the death knell for Juan.
I wonder how many will be on here saying "we played well" or "daylight robbery" etc.
The fact is we are losing/lost, and are rock bottom of the league.
PLAYING WELL DOESNT GET US POINTS!!!!

If the club don't have the money to pay off the remainder of his contract - how do they sack him? Have they put themselves in a corner here having offered him a 2 year contract and now not having the means to terminate his contract. Presumably they had to offer him 2 years to get him to relocate? Would be interested to know how we actually do this if Thea does not bank roll this action?
May not be the original, but I am the best 'TauntonGull' .... See I can do signatures too, coz I am a real boy!

Full time thank goodness. Knills last game in charge, just 3 wins from 22 games. Joke, absolute effing joke. Do one final honourable thing and resign. Save the board the job of sacking you. Chris's Brass. What the hell did you do for us?

Has to be! (Not literally of course)! Thea sacked Ling. She can sack Knill.Scott Brehaut wrote:So, the Board sack Martin for "footballing reasons", yet he NEVER found himself this low in the league.

Rock bottom
As it was in the beginning (obvious after the first game vs Wimbledon)
Is now (and for the rest of the season)
And ever shall be (no escape from the Conference this time).

Has to make you wonder now if his brief is to take us quietly down, I accept that isn't what the board wanted intially but if circumstances are now beyond their control then what of the TQY faithful, what can we do to avert this?
So very sad, expect the batesons are pissing themselves

I don't think I've ever been as close to quitting this shower of s*** as I am tonight.
ST holder for many years and have to endure hours of taunting at work every week. Why the f*** do any of us bother?
This is a terrible day but one that many of us on here have been predicting. You're gonna need a billionaire in charge because the gates will fall again after this result.
Here's the choice........Xmas shopping or another inept Torquay display?
We'll be lucky to scrape 2,000 for the next home game.

I think we have witnessed some of the worst football I have seen seen Torquay play in over 7 years under the Knill tenure. I think we just have to wait for the inevitable now!

O'Connor own goal just about summed things up. Not sure on the possesion, ESPN app on my phone has it at 60/40 in Scunny's favour...
Really that was an embarassment. Lets be honest Scunthorpe are so good they couldn't beat fecking Grimsby over two games.
We just havn't got it lets be fair there is really going to be no escape this time. No Jim Mcnichol,no Ian Atkins,no bryn the police dog,no Barnet - no bugger all.
Theres no leadership from the management and no leadership by the board.
We are now adrift - and the notion that we are going to start picking up points from somewhere is just ridiculous.
As wivejgull said we were poor in the first match against Wimbledon and have got worse ever since.
A clueless cock up and no mistake. Going down and not coming back.

Surely this will be the end of Knill. He absolutely has to go! I would challenge anyone who would say that we should keep him on as manager. Bottom of the league and sinking fast the board must make the switch NOW before it is too late. We risk being done financially as a club if we drop down to the conference. Sack Knill now!
