My my, seems the local sides are doing a lot of business close to home! Who'd be the new captain then? If both Pearce and downes stay i think either of them would be good captains.

All the best Manse. Has been a great servant and ambassador for our club and I will always remember his and Nico's time here fondly. Apart from 2 games next year I hope he does well at Rovers and one day we see him return to the TUFC family in some coaching type role.

Although i'm not surprised he's moved on, its sad seeing him signing for a rival already waving their scarf, he's been a massive player for this club for 7 years!
Oh well, with players like and Nico gone, its time to move on!

Thanks to mansell for his efforts. He had one good season among a load of bits n pieces.
His efforts at right back were good but barring the 13 goal season, was generally poor in midfield giving the ball away all the time. Good luck to him but he should have gone some time ago. Loking forward to hargreaves bringing in some improved players

Truly amazed he has gone to Bristol Rovers, genuinely thought Conference South was as good as he would be offered, so he has done well to get an offer for a Conference club.
Obviously Bristol Rovers scouts saw something from The Bench that I certainly did not last year.
Chris Hargreaves has done a great job in persuading Manse to move on in such a way that both parties are happy and save face

A very good move for Lee, it means he's still fairly close to home and I hope he does well (just not against us). Hopefully we can bring in a midfielder with a similar amount of fight but will some technical ability too, but I do think we will miss his determination.

Rovers clearly haven't learned their lessons in terms of money management. Unbelievable move for a player who is miles past his best. Lovely bloke, legend etc, but clubs don't give a shit about that. That's why Lee Hughes is welcomed with open arms throughout football. And Suarez and Tevez and all the other colossal bellends.
Rovers have signed him because they think he'll help get them promoted. They stand to be disappointed.

The chairman said he signed Lee for his experience, and that's an experience of getting promoted from the Conference. I don't think he'll be the key first team player that he once was here, but I think he's there to share his knowledge and experience with the rest of the team.

Good move for a player who has dined out on one good season a couple of years ago to an extent.
If Rovers fans love a trier, shouting and arm waving he'll do OK. If they are expecting quality on the ball, they are in for a shock.
