I don't think that is the case, I personally think Manse is still playing because Knill doesn't rate Lathrope or Craig and therefore has had no other option. As soon as he gets in his own players (McCourt now, and possibly Mozika), I think Manse will dropped and potentially moved on, with Downes as our new captain.

I am personally coming round to thinking that the problem this season has been that he cannot play effectively in this league in a two man central midfield. If I am not mistaken, under Buckle he played predominantly at right back, and then under Ling he largely played as one of three.
This isn't true.

Are you able to elaborate Matt?

Sadly, I wouldn't like to here. I wasn't going to say anything at all, but thought it was sufficiently important that I ought best.

The club (and particularly the management duo) are acutely aware of Nathan's talent. He's not not playing because he isn't good enough or because he isn't 'rated'.

It's precisely as it sounds. Rest assured Knilly knows of Craig's quality.

Matt, nice post, but what your saying doesn't fit with the popular view. Alan Knill is crap manager, has blinkers on, why sign McCourt when we already have a squad full of world beating midfielders, that's what you should have said.

Your post suggests that AK has a certain way he wants NC to play, and along with Brassy is developing NC'S game accordingly, but that would suggest AK knows what he is doing, no, get away, can't be, never, AK doesn't have a clue. Do I get round of applause now?

We are losing games what's AK doing about it, but wait there has been some posts suggesting in a few minutes McCourt looked better than many of our midfield options, so maybe AK is actually trying to bring in players capable playing his way, and winning games.

There is certain amount of intended sarcasm in this post, and a few of us did try to warn those jumping the gun, that this was lad unlikely to start the game, ahead of Lathrope/Mansell.

If this is true, why doesn't he play him? Without exaggeration, week after week when we're chasing games, I hear frustrated fans around me saying 'Why doesn't he bring on Nathan Craig?' I'm sure you must hear it as well. At Wycombe, the ironic cheers when Craig was brought on for the last 10 minutes of the game could be heard loud and clear on Radio Devon. I don't know that Nathan is the answer to out prayers, but he's not going to gain experience by sitting on the bench week after week.

There's no 'if' about it. I do hear it, mainly coming out of my mouth :O

What's the process of selecting a referee for a fixture then?
