The pitch inspection is early though so not long for it to dry.

Just been out with the dog. Don't want to disappoint, but I can't see any chance of a game tomorrow. It's bucketing down.

I would be pleased with the updates of what people have seen when they have looked out of the window if I had no other access to weather reports!

Because 'weather reports' are always more accurate than what people are actually experiencing.

Unwise to look at one single local forecast; better to look for developing trends. At present it looks to be trending towards a slightly better than 50/50 chance of the game going ahead. But don't put any bets on it..

Yes there will be a 9am pitch inspection. But there may also be a last ditch pitch inspection 2 or 3 hours later..

I'm not sure what part of middle earth you're watching for weather reports, or indeed if your game of Quidditch will go ahead, but given the torrential rain from 9pm until midnight, and again for the last 40 minutes, combined with the forecast for almost non stop rain until tomorrow evening, gives the game an almost negative percentage chance of being played. That is, unless we have had some miraculous weather over the exact spot Plainmoor occupies in the cosmos.

Enjoy your day tomorrow/later today people, it won't be spent in the stands of Plainmoor, of that I am 99% certain.

A link above to a forecast of torrential rain for the whole of Saturday. I'm now confused as to the point you're trying to make Gullscorer?

Seeing as weather warnings have been issued for South West, it would probably be wise simply to postpone it. To see if it Cannot really see Tuesday's game going ahead, either.

Think this could depend on how much damage the pitch sustained over night, if the weather continues as it is now, there is a small glimmer of hope, blue skies and windy right now.. But for how long..

should be some news any minute as a result of the pitch inspection

The worst if the rain seemed to be between 10-12 last night, there didn't seem to be much of a deluge after that, and the high winds will be working for us. The pitch may scrape past an inspection at 9am, but once the heavens open later this morning, the pitch will surely be underwater quicker than a shark chasing a clown fish.
