Its not up to fecking Gowling is it?

Given that we apparently only had 12 players at training yesterday and only have two fit centre halves (and given that Gowling has got some games in the last month) it would appear to make some sense to have him back (at least in the short term)

As he is our contracted player he basically has to do what Johnson tells him.

I would hope that Mr Johnson knows full well how to play this situation and it wouldn't surprise me if he's already dealt with it because that's what good Managers do, identify a problem and resolve it.

I finally have some hope for the season!

Gowling is a good player, maybe he was just mis-managed or not handled correctly by GO. I spoke to him at the Dorchester pre-season friendly and he seemed like an affable guy. Of course, we don't know what goes on behind closed doors. GJ won't put up with any nonsense, so watch this space!

I think you will find that there wiil be a long overdue change of style of football where more chances are created and Reid, Williams and Keating will be scoring the goals. And also Andre Wright as I expect him to be given more game time.

I have always liked Gary Johnson, especially when he was at Yeovil. I thought he conducted himself admirably yesterday and interviewed commendably. I thought I saw a few smiles along the way as well!
I predict a much brighter future now for TUFC!

What a coup this is. Apart from one critic , we can safely say we have a proper manager and that we respect and never thought we would get. Must be on a good wage though to come here.

He did not come cheap, that's for sure - just goes to show you how much Osborne wants his grubby little hands on Plainmoor and Nightingale Park for his housing development and other leisure projects. Planning application submission in November so had to do something to appease the pesky natives in order to sweet talk the councilors into believing that the fans support him and his 'Pipe-Dream' of taking us all the way up to the Premiership with a new stadium.

From a football perspective we could not have asked for more - indeed a coup.
