Good signing IMO for the position they are in.

WHAT AN ABSOLUTE W*NKER!!!!
Joking obviously. My God do they need somebody like him but if the rest of the defence are total puddings then it won't make a blind bitof difference. He'll get them galvanised, organised and working hard but how far that will take them i don't know. I still think they will end up in the BSP in all seriousness, especialy with Sheridan rocking up giving it the big plans.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

my how things have changed. plymouth signing torquay/ex torquay players who are past there best days, rather than the other way around. =D

You are my torquay, my only torquay, you make me happy when skies are grey, you'll never know, just, how much i love you, so don't take my torquay away.

A good signing for the BSP bound slime, but he's past his best.

Branno's best days are well gone. He's now just fat and immobile. Waste of time signing and although I was annoyed/disappointed he left it's turned out to be one of the best things to happen to us in recent years. Replaced for the long haul by Saah and since then Branno's continued his mission to play for every club in the British isles. He's not stuck around anywhere since being here and the reason for that is he's finished.
Don't hold back Royal - speak your mind!
A ledge for us; let's hope he's a liability for them.

Might just be enough to save Argyle from the drop, but I'm more inclined to the view that Argyle will need to make another signing or two yet..

I know EXACTLY how he feels.................

Love Branno to bits, however Aldershot signed and soon released him, Rovers had him on loan didn't want him , that tells a story all of it's own he's had it.
Nice one Argyle signed "past it " Branno and "midget" Murray on the same day and here was me thinking they had some money.

Quite sure they do have money Dave, just Mr Brent seems a very clever man whos not just going to pump money in like its going out of fashion. The project for their new stand is looking at over £30m, and I don't think it'll be long before there back at the top of L1 or even in the Championship.
That said, I'm not going to stop enjoy being better than them at the minute!!

Agreed Plymouth do have it all place to be Championship club again but it is not that simple, you only have to look at Leeds love or hate them they have all they need to be a top half premiership club, 8 years down the line form their fall from grace they have only just re-established themselves back into the Championship. And Portsmouth have it all in place to be atleast a top Championship club they have another 10 pt deduction to come will be in league 2 next season, they may never make it back to the top flight.
Thats the thing for Plymouth they have played more games than the other teams down near the bottom two, unless they post a coupled of wins and quickly they could find themselves being cut adrift depending on what the other teams do when they catch up with their fixtures. Had they invested £100k of that new stand money into the team they would have givem themselves a very good chance of pulling away but they didn't, instead they signed a centre back more past it than the one they lost and a midget striker who looks like he will never fufill his early potential .
Of course it may work out for them, if it doesn't, relegation to the bsp and promotion will back to the league will cost them 10 times that £100k figure and may result in their grand plans being put on hold and their chances of rising back throught he leagues back 5-10 years..and thats why I wonder whether they do have the money they say they do.
