2 for 1 Torquay United tickets

Post by Rach »

Just thought I'd mention it as I haven't seen it on here yet, The Herald Express are printing a voucher which you can use to get 2-1 tickets to our home game against Aldershot on the 2nd of October, so for those moaning about ticket prices there you go!!

You can buy the paper with the voucher in from 21st of September and it costs £1.

Hopefully it will encourage more people to come to the game and swell the crowds a bit. :scarf:

Oh Mattypoos how wrong you are, I am a season ticket holder as many of my friends are aswell, no of us, myself included have a problem or ever will have a problem with the club offering 2 tickets for the price of 1 , or any other promotions with a potential long term benefit to the club we all support.

What bugs me still is the lack of advertising done by our club, for christ sake nobody can even appear to be bothered updating the big board down by kerswell gardens, hope no one turned up for our home match with Plymouth last Saturday.( and yes I am aware this has been covered elsewhere)

The Family stand has become a problem with the opening of Bristows Bench, Nicktufc recently said to me, I know a number of people have suggested this, I can't understand why the club doesn't offer 200 free tickets to local schools for the family stand, if only 10% turned into life long gulls fans it would benefit the club, I think he has a point anyone else agree or dissagree?

For the family stand why can't we offer a family ticket, i have personaly suggested this a number times, I know of a number of famlies personaly who's cildren have to take it turns to matchs because they simply can't afford to all go..whats wrong with 2 adults 2 kids...at a discounted price for the family stand only.

Are these 2 for 1 tickets for anywhere in the ground or just the pop does anyone know?
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

why do you want two tickets andy?? yr well known for a) being a loner and b) having no friends!!

supernickywroe says hes planning on meeting you in chesterfield together with hardofherringgull, they both know me so it looks like our paths may well cross at long last!!

we're meeting (my mates) at sheffield tap and prob getting the bus to the superb derby tup, and another pub near there that looks like someones living room (any ideas??), around 1330-1400, after the game prob stay in chesterfield at the rutland under the spire?

hope to catch up with you and share betting tips etc!! dutch overs tonight!!

you can f*ck off now after that character assassination!!!!! :@

No, daft as it sounds i was gonna take me old mam along and treat her to some decent footy in the comfort of the bench whilst we're on hols. She hasn't been to a game since my Dad died in the 90's when they used to go to Hillsborough every week to watch the Owls so thought it would be good for her to get out a bit. As it turns out i'll be going on me own anyway so probably meet up with some of you retards in the pop! And you're generally right, i go to most games on my own but now and again i get a mate to come, my Chesterfield mate can't come with me next weekend as he's going to Matlock illuminations, him and his missus go every year apparently. Unbelieveable!! He's pencilled in for an all dayer on the train to York in November though! Yeah be good to see you lot next week Bix. Can't wait ( for the game that is, not t see you :na: ).

Yeah, the pub under the Spire is the rutland but not sure what the pub is called near the ground. There's the tup and the donkey derby on the corner near asda/halfords and also a small pub on the corner opposite the ground which i think is home fans only. There is a weird pub halfway up that hill which is in the middle of a row of houses. I forgot what thats called too but it's tiny and like someones house! I'll be able to give other fans more info about the town in my matchday thread though so keep your eyes peeled!
