This is how i saw it as a line up to start

-----------------------Hamon
-----------Booth ----Tomlinson----Moxey
Craske ---Hasani - Threlkeld - Hayfield - Carson
------------------Ash ----- Seymour

Threlkeld as Cpt which makes sense over player coach Moxey

Crosbie seemingly the only player missing from the squad tonight

Certainly created the better chances in the first half

Threlkeld covered the back 3 and looks solid

Hasani is full of running and caught the eye

Seymour a bit similar to Ash but looks better on the ball

Hamon very vocal in goal

Craske and Carson pushed up a lot and gave us good width

Was very much a typical early pre season friendly. Game fizzled out particularly in the second half. Torquay dominated possession and territory without really creating many decent chances.

Buckland defended very well without really looking like scoring themselves. Would very much expect that Buckland side to be moving up to the Southern League in the next season or 2. Wouldn't read much into the result.

Yes very well summed up in those two posts.
Thought Austen Booth played very well tonight, very solid in the tackle and in the air and used the ball well.
Ben Seymour looked really sharp, quick and lively, great movement, can see him being a real danger and scoring goals, but need another forward, bit lightweight.
Dan Hayfield in midfield played well within himself but showed that's he's a really good player at times.

Was No 22 a triallist looked about 6 foot 6 inches tall and stood out physically but was he any good? Only seen the Highlights.

I was at the game, just being honest, wasn't overly impressed, he was easily beaten in a few ariel challenges, had a free header in the last minute, only a half chance, but directed his header well wide, probably a bit harsh to judge on just 45 minutes to be fair.

13 - Matt Wonnnacott (GK)
17 - Muhamet Gashi
22 - Harry Lodovica

Lodovica was the striker, and agreed - certainly had the height but not sure on him - someone of that stature is needed IMO

No, number 22 was underwhelming. He needs to do a lot better , not as good as DOA on that performance ! Shame we couldn't manage a goal or two against Buckland but as said pre season results are meaningless , we beat Exeter 4-1 last July and look what happened after that !

Wonnacott makes sense. Former TUFC Under-18s, goalkeeper who signed for Wigan u18 development squad. Still only 19 would make a good back-up goalie. As for Gashi and Lodovica: feels like scraping the bottle of the barrel. I believe Lodovica suffers from ankle ligament issues. Hope we have more trialists in the next games to choose from.
