Shows the supporters and critics that Uncle Clarke is serious with his intent on getting us back into the football league and he ain't going anywhere. All you uncle Clarke supporters must be so upset.

This doesn't really change my feeling. on the football side, it's clear that Osbourne is continuing to support the club - I doubt very much that Johnson would sign a new contract unless he has some commitment and assurances on the budget level for next season. So that's encouraging.dawlishmatt wrote: 11 Jun 2021, 17:34 Shows the supporters and critics that Uncle Clarke is serious with his intent on getting us back into the football league and he ain't going anywhere. I still struggle to see Clarke Osbourne's end game, though. Nobody is going to come in and buy the club from him - even in League 2 - because they'd also (presumably) have to pay off the £4m loan that he's made to the club. So he must be expecting some return elsewhere - whether he can make that much from any redevelopment of Plainmoor is unclear, especially if he has to deliver a new ground beforehand.
Who knows, though, maybe he's got the fever and he's a full member of the Yellow Army!
