It stands for muttonhead of the match.Yorkieandy wrote: 24 Apr 2018, 21:04 This HAS to the most sarcastic thread in TUFC fans forum history surely?!!![]()
No, Andy - there were two or three players who rose above the dross.Yorkieandy wrote: 24 Apr 2018, 21:04 This HAS to the most sarcastic thread in TUFC fans forum history surely?!!![]()
!. Rhys Healey - no. 1 by a mile
2. Arran (?) Barnes
3. George Dowling - came on as a second half sub, and like Barnes, he showed an urgency and determination which others didn't
4. Liam Davis - had a reasonable game, I thought. Just about deserves to be included.
But only four from me.

The Guiseley team ........ for playing 5 games in 11 days and winning last night after losing the previous 4!
Yes, Wivel - when I think of past players we have watched at Plainmoor and compare what we were watching last night ..... it makes you want to weep.wivelgull wrote: 25 Apr 2018, 07:57 1. The unquiet ghost of Robin Stubbs

From my era I would add Steve Cooper, Kenny Sandercock, Ian Twitchin and Clint Boulton - they would all have given the current shower an almighty verbal roasting!

Can i just mention the so accurate posting of Tomogull, Branston, he would have sorted them out, too true and that surely is one of the major reasons Torquay have serially failed these last two seasons, we have a bunch of so called players with not one leader amongst them, Mcginty, dont make me laugh, Gowling, shouts a lot but no one listens to him, Young, well not sure whats happened to him, but football is surely not his first love anymore. Perhaps managers like the inferior versions we seem to recruit are frightened stupid of strong characters who would probably see straight through them.
I think guy branston would be a good shout for manager or coach.
And when he gets sent to the stands geoff stelling could "and guy branston has got himself into a pickle". At least there would be passion and work ethic.
I find these retro posts depressing. Anyone remember us beating league 1 (premier league) Burnley featuring Brian Flynn. ....... I need a drink.

Sorry my mistake it's not a retro post it's actually about the man of the match from the last game......my bad......says it all!
