Torquay United v Dagenham and Redbridge - Matchday thread - 17/02/18
My first game since Solihull Moors at home in August, looking forward to seeing the team in action whilst I'm in town.
Two wins on the bounce, three and we could actually be thinking about survival. A draw or a defeat would surely mean back to square one and getting ready for NL South. Still not convinced that we can survive, but, then again, when we were in similar situations the last two seasons, I thought the same.
Predictions?

despite the Gowling injury and Romain being eligible i think we need to stick to the same formation for consistency
-------------------------Dorel
Davis ---Balatoni -- McGinty -- Efete --- Barnes
------Lemonheigh-Evans Young Dowling
---------------------Reid Williams
Concerning though if we get a defensive injury or suspension

A shame about Romain and Gowling. But, Dag and Red are having some troubles and have lost some players, could be a bit of unrest, plus they are all but safe already. I'm thinking they are there for the taking. I'll go with Torquay 2-1 Dag and Red, Young at the double with a penalty and a wordly from 25 yards. It's definitely going to happen!

Romains Loan Ran out. SO Who knows? We may go in their and re new it and Try agree to let him play on saturday. No one knows for sure. If he cannot play then Start Keating, We all seen how well Him and Williams worked well together last season.
Think I would be in favour of restoring the Williams Keating partnership up front with Reid in behind
I still think with the right player up with him, Keating is a goal threat, but agree I think Owers will go for Reid
Dagenham were lucky to beat us up there with that last minute penalty, lets hope we get one tomorrow as long as
Reid doesnt take it, I dont like his penalties, always gives the keeper a chance if he guesses correctly. Blast them
5-6 feet high, like I said before, the keeper never dives upwards

No it didn't; he's on loan until the end of the season. Being a loanee; he can't play against his parent club

I hope Owers replaces Romain with Ronan - we rarely perform well if Reid starts.
Keating and Williams did work very well together last year and Romain isn’t too dissimilar to Keating, so would go with that.
Evans impressed me 2nd half last week and would bring him in for Gowling with the same reshuffle.
Really need Gowling fit ASAP though, is there news?

If Romain’s loan is not extended and is replaced with either Reid (god help us) or keeping, we will without doubt be back on the bottom as quick as you can say jack Robinson!
Elliott romain is here until the end of the season. It's just he can't play tomorrow against his parent club.
Apparently they are looking to sign him permanently. But I saw that on Devon live so I will take it with a pinch of salt!

It doesn't need extending; he's he for the rest of the season. Do you not read before you post?
