The Branno chants were AlexGulls and Myself doing what we have always done since Hereford away last year and that is sing for Branston.DavetheRave wrote:

I agree with "No need for the C*** chants" but to say the Branno chants were boring........ lighten up a bit you miserable git.
If you want to sing something else then start the chants and stop relying on the same people to do so.
If you don't want to start a chant then stand there and listen to Alex and I changing all the players chants to that of Guy Branston.

Bevs certainly made 3 or 4 stops (in the entire 90 minutes!)Awayday wrote: Was he at a different game? "We had several chances in the first half", did they......???? From what I remember the only shot at target was their goal?
He's certainly overstating their performance though (as would any manager to try and keep morale up). Considering how their heads dropped when we scored, confidence in their squad is obviously very fragile...

AwayDay, thought the Branston chant was really funny, better than that BillyKee rubbish, keep it up!
Apologies SG for not getting in B & L before 7.00pm.
After dinner at Bruv's last night, a full fridge of Blackthorn was too good to turn down.

But why not sing for the whole team? I wasn't there last night but remember at Darlington away last season when all the chants were Branston-related. We have 10 other players out there. Fair play for starting off chants and banging your drum, but I can understand why fans would be turned off if all the songs are about one individual.Awayday wrote: The Branno chants were AlexGulls and Myself doing what we have always done since Hereford away last year and that is sing for Branston.

Agree with the shit thrown at Jake Thomson. Thought it was totally unneccessary. I expected Green to get some stick after what he said after leaving, but once the fans started booing Wes Thomas thinking it was Green, it started going a bit quiet. Then Thomson came on and seemed to take the wrath - he was good when he was here, until his attitude shone through.

Anyone else watch the BBC highlights yet and hear them call Zebs "Wayne Carlisle"???

Nice to see Gilbert get a mention though!

Tomlin not Zebs?
Fate: A police dog called Bryn bit Torquay player Jim McNichol and the time while he was receiving treatment was added onto the end of the second half.

Yeah another BBC mistake, he does say Wayne Carlisle instead of Tomlin
bit like when we had sills and he was often named Tom sills
