As the guy who suggested the Scheme to Andrew Candy I just wondered if anyone had heard if the Scheme will be retained by the New Consortium?
I guess it is one of many decisions yet to be made.
If retained I do hope the Club will market the Scheme properly. This Scheme could be a real success in a Community Club like TUFC but it only works if the Club are behind the Scheme 100%. I have no idea how many fans joined last year but I suspect it was minimal because the Club gave very little info to fans apart from a few brief mentions on the OS.

Might want to send your thoughts to the club itself. I only attend the odd home match due to location, so couldnt take part. But the new consortium might find a new angle I guess if enough interest

My experience of it was that it needed tweeking. The fact you had to queue up for a ticket at the ticket office was a bind. If you had the card you should have been able to pay the reduced rate at the turnstiles. Otherwise it was a good idea as well as the special packages for fans living away from the area.
Because of the ticket issue I went back to having a season ticket last season and will be doing the same this season (funds allowing, £80 more to find yet!)

Mattpuma you make a very valid point. My card has a photo so the card should gain you access via the turnstile but the problem is the ticket office computer controls exactly were you sit.
The Membership Scheme needs a root and branch review if it is to work well for the benefit of the Club and the fans.

i'm hoping to continue donating to the club this way, not been back to more than one home game in the three years i've been a member, but more than happy to continue giving but would hope that if i do find myself back in the bay then my donation would still be rewarded with discounted admission! plus i'd like to keep card no 0001!!
still keeping the faith
